CUSTOMER SERVICE

Unitil’s Home Energy Reports provide information on your home's electric and natural gas usage, including a comparison to households with similar characteristics - “neighbors”. The reports also offer tips to help you make informed decisions about saving energy at home, and money on your bill. Customers have been randomly chosen / pre-selected to participate in this program.

How it works

Several times throughout the year, you’ll receive a custom report that includes information based on how your home uses energy. Your report will share helpful information so you can find savings opportunities. The reports will also show you how your home uses energy and how it compares to similar homes in your area. The home comparison relates your current electricity use to approximately 100 nearby, occupied homes. These homes are comparable to yours, but are not necessarily the homes in your neighborhood.

You’ll also find tips on each report that are personalized for you based on your energy use and publicly available information about your home, such as the type of home and size. This way, you’ll have specific tips that you know will make a difference in your home.

Note: Participants were chosen to receive energy reports based on location and/or billing criteria. There is currently no open enrollment for this program.

Energy Efficiency Programs

Energy efficiency adds to your comfort, increases productivity and reduces your monthly energy costs. It also benefits both the economy and the environment, conserving fuel resources and reducing unnecessary environmental impacts.
